Nut milks are fab aren’t they?
Creamy and delicious…… BUT unfortunately milking those nuts is expensive!!
Introducing RICE MILK !!
So quick and cheap to make, i’d definitely say it’s the easiest to make.
There’s no straining, no soaking and you don’t even have to make fresh rice to make it.I did rinse the rice before and after cooking to extract some of the starch but come on…that only takes seconds.
I’ve kept this one simple and just added a little 100% maple for sweetness and a little bit of coconut oil for a rounder taste. You could really play around with flavours though, cinnamon, dates, raw cacao, nutmeg they’d all be delicious. You could even use some sticky coconut rice if you’re feeling bold!
1 cup of cooked organic brown rice
4 cups of filtered water
2 tbsp 100% Maple syrup (adjust this to your liking)
1 tsp raw coconut oil
Add all ingredients into a high powered blender and blend for a couple of minutes.
Done! I told you it was easy….
